The Fresh Season is Always Over Too Soon

It's been great seeing so many old friends and meeting new people at the store! But the time has come for the store to close for this year.

The fresh blueberry season always seems to go too fast, and this year is no exception. The berries were really good this year - lots of sun to sweeten them up! But the warm temperatures have matured them quickly too.

We always like to finish the fresh season while the berries are still nice quality, so before they pass their prime we're finishing off the fresh sales and switching over to frozen. Frozen blueberries are available at the Office in the Packing Shed all year round. (Just continue down the driveway past the store, and follow the signs to the Office.)

The same tasty berries you were enjoying in July were also being frozen so that they would be ready for you for the rest of the year. The 30 pound boxes are ready to go, and the 5 pound bags will be available after Tuesday, August 5th.

The Office is open on Mondays, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings all year, but you can call or text 604-556-8066 to make an appointment for other times to pick up your blueberries.
